Where to Vote In Branford on Aug. 14
New construction underway at Walsh Intermediate School means Branford voters living in District 7 will vote at Tisko Elementary School in the Tuesday, Aug. 14 Republican and Democratic state office primary vote. Voters residing in District 1 are reminded their poll is at Branford High School, due to construction still underway at the Community House.
On Tuesday, Aug. 14, Branford’s seven voting locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. to registered Republican or Democratic electors registered in the Town of Branford. New or unaffiliated voters can register in person during regular office hours by Monday, Aug. 13 at the Town Clerk’s Office at Branford Town Hall (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) or Registrar of Voters, 40 Kirkham Street on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Also, on Monday, Aug. 13, Branford’s Registrar of Voters office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon for residents to register in person. Unaffiliated voters can’t vote in the primary, and it’s too late for those considering switching parties—the deadline for that was three months before the primary.
