06/19/2018 04:45 PMAfter a year at the Henry Carter Hull Library, the Clinton Farmer’s Market has returned to Route One for another season of providing fresh food and entertainment. The market opened on June 6 at the Adam Stanton House located at 63 East Main Street and will run each Thursday until Oct. 18 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., which coincides with the Clinton Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series just down the block.
“We’re creating an event every Thursday in Clinton,” said Stanton House Board of Directors President Pat Lindahl.
In addition to the fresh food, food trucks, and other products that are market staples, Lindahl said the market is adding some additional, local features.
For starters, the market will reserve one vendor spot each week for a nonprofit organization to come and raise awareness and perhaps money for its cause; these spots would be given on a rotating basis to different groups.
Another spot will be reserved for what Lindahl called “child entrepreneurs,” local kids who have made a craft or other product for sale.

Lindahl said that she is excited that the market would be returning to the current location after being held at the library for a short time.
“It’s extremely visible,” Lindahl said of the location, which is diagonally across from the Town Hall.
