Maturo Serves as Witness to Valentine’s Day Wedding

Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr., recently served as a witness to the marriage of Abhishek Tiwari and Rafaela Almonte at East Haven Town Hall. The ceremony was officiated by the Justice of Peace Tara L. Dymarczyk, before Maturo and his staff.

Following the ceremony, Maturo noted, “In my 16-plus years as mayor, I’ve had the privilege of being a part of a lot of great things. However, I’ve never been asked to serve as a witness to a couple’s wedding. It was a great honor to be a part of the ceremony for Abhishek and Rafaela and I wish them both the best of luck for a happy, healthy, and prosperous life together.”
