02/28/2018 08:48 AMTo help students figure out their next step after high school, Daniel Hand High School is hosting a career fair on Thursday, March 8, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Dining & Assembly Hall.
More than 50 career professionals will be on hand to answer student’s questions one-on-one and provide information about careers in criminal justice, business, science, finance, engineering, architecture, law, medicine, health, accounting, marine science, media and publishing, and interior design, as well as business owners, tradespeople, and many more.
All students are encouraged to come and walk around the fair to hear about some careers of which they may never have heard. Careers represented don’t all need a four-year degree. Job shadowing, internships, and volunteer opportunities are available from many of the professionals attending, and there will be prizes and swag.
