Meet Suzie

Suzie is a four year-old female tortoiseshell. She came to Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (VSAWL) a few years ago as a four month-old kitten who was scared of everything. Over time, she has allowed people to pet her. She may be hesitant at first, but she becomes friendly as she gets familiar with people. Suzie is great with other cats and would do best in a quiet home. Suzie is up to date on her vaccines, flea prevention, and is spayed. If interested in Suzie, call VSAWL at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL currently has space available for adoptable dogs and cats that need to be relinquished. If you or someone you know needs to rehome their cat or dog, call manager Christy Moore at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Westbrook, open five days a week (Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Calling ahead is recommended for availability. All animals live on site and can be viewed for consideration for adoption.

To see who else is waiting for a home at the shelter, visit www.valleyshoreanimalwelfareleague.org and www.facebook.com/VSAWL as well as www.petfinder.com.
