01/24/2018 11:00 PMThe Connecticut Bankers Association (CTBA) is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who robbed an East Haven Webster Bank.
According to a press release from the East Haven Police Department, a tall white male in his 20s or 30s entered the Webster Bank at 260 Main Street at 12:37 p.m. and passed a note to a teller demanding cash. The teller complied with the request, and the suspect fled the area.
The suspect was described as having a slim to medium build. He was wearing a black jacket, a Yankees baseball cap, fluorescent gloves, black face mask, khaki pants, and work boots. He fled the area in a newer model white GMC 1500 single cab with tinted side and rear windows as well as a strip of tint at the top of the front windshield. The vehicle also had a rear license plate cover and a trailer hitch. He was last seen heading westbound on Dodge Avenue toward New Haven.
