Academic and Extracurricular Achievements

• Len Fasano and David Yaccarino were honored at the annual Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner of the North Haven Sons & Daughters of Italy Lodge 2805 on Dec. 2, 2017.

• Rachel Cubbellotti, a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, played the tuba in a recent concert band performance.

• Devan Parsons, a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, was a member of the set contruction crew in a recent college theater production.

• Nora Mackay, a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Delta chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.

• Sara Rademacher is serving an 11-month term in the National Civilian Community Corps, an Americorps program.

• Nicole Silengo was elected supreme bellarum on the board of the Alpha Zeta Omega pharmaceutical organization. A member of the class of 2018, she is pursuing a doctorate in pharmacy at Western New England University.

• Holly LaPrade was recognized by the Connecticut General Assembly and Town of North Haven for establishing the fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP) Awareness Day.

• Michael Della Valle, a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, played bass in the Eastern Jazz Ensemble at a recent college concert.

• Thomas Myjak, a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, played percussion in the Music Cultures of the World Class at a recent college concert.

• Matthew Solorzano, a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, played percussion in the World Percussion Ensemble at a recent college concert.
