To fine-tune issues to be debated by Branford's First Selectman candidates on Wed. Nov. 1, the League of Women Voters of the East Shore (LWVES) is asking the public to send in questions or topics for the candidates, in advance.

LWVES is hosting the debate between Republican incumbent First Selectman Jamie Cosgrove and Democratic candidate Lynda Mollow. The debate will be moderated by League of Women Voters of Connecticut president Carol Reimers.

The closed debate will take place in the studio of BCTV and air live at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, followed by a schedule of additional airings. The debate will also be available for view online at https://vimeopro.com/branfordtv/newspolitics.

Branford's 2017 municipal election is Tues. Nov. 7.
