Diamond B Ranch Barn in North Branford Catches on Fire

A barn on the Diamond B Ranch in North Branford became fully engulfed in flames on the afternoon of Oct. 1. The farm, located at the intersection of Village Street and Middletown Avenue, is owned by the Doody-Duhamel family. “Ms. Goat,” a three-year-old show goat, was lost in the fire. A favorite on the farm, she had been adopted by the cows when she lost her mother at an early age.
All three North Branford volunteer fire departments worked to put out the fire.
