North Branford HS Musicians Selected for Shoreline Music Fest
A total of 19 North Branford High School (NBHS) student musicians (instrumentalists and singers) have been accepted into the 2017 Shoreline Music Festival and will participate in a fall festival performance with exemplary student musicians from several shoreline schools.
The 10 NBHS Band students include: Morgan Bailey, tuba; Toby Bourdeau, flute; Matti Colavolpe, tenor saxophone; Hayley Ernest, flute; Cheyenne Gibilaro, trumpet; Makayla Harrison, piccolo; Collin Ouellet, baritone saxophone; Courtney Ouellet, flute; Ethan Sabetta, clarinet; Emma Schreiber, clarinet.
The nine NBHS Choir students include: Jonathon Buckley, tenor; Nadia Calabrese, soprano; Jenna Fama, soprano; Nicholas Federico, bass; Ian McLay, tenor; Morgan Odice, alto; Ashley Slubowski, alto; Brandon Stimpson, tenor; Alyssa Walters, alto.
The Shoreline Music Festival ensembles are comprised of the top musicians from the 12 schools in the Shoreline Conference, with a public performance set for Coginchaug High School at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 12. Congratulations!
