Awards and Recognitions

The Town of North Haven Clean Energy Task Force was a recipient of the 2017 GreenCircle Sustainability Awards given by The Hartford Business Journal and Department of Energy & Environmental Protection. The GreenCircle Sustainability Awards celebrates those who take a coordinated and holistic approach to reducing their environmental impact and resource demands of their operations and activities. Projects were recognized in the Business, Government, Individual/Groups, Schools, and Housing sectors. In addition, two awards were presented for “Innovation.”

Accomplishments

• Samantha Manns conquered the streets of the TD Five Boro Bike Ride for the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) Foundation on May 7 in New York City.
