Apple Rehab Hosts Car Show for Residents and Charity
Apple Rehab Laurel Woods hosted its seventhth annual Car Cruise and Fair on June 17. The event was held not only for residents, but also to help raise funds for good causes.
Admissions Coordinator Chris Condon said that a “whole bunch of others” with Apple Rehab helped to organize the event, which included a 50/50 raffle and other raffles. This year, the proceeds are going to the Arlene Sheehan Memorial Scholarship and the Ronald McDonald House.
Condon said the residents love the event and seeing the classic cars, and, although it was cloudy outside, she was glad it wasn’t raining.
Apple Rehab Maintenance Coordinator Ray Benson, a member of the Street Creepers Car Club, made the designs for the T-shirts and flyers for the event.
