On May 7, Francesca Daniels and Alex Fortier, both seniors at Valley Regional High School, were awarded the High School Scholar-Athlete Award from Connecticut Association of Schools and the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference for both their athletic talent and academic excellence.
