Person Struck, Killed by Train in Branford

Officials have not yet released the identity of a person struck and killed today by an Amtrak Acela train traveling through Branford in the area of Bridge Street and North Harbor Street. The person was confirmed to be a male.
According to reports, the accident occured at approximately 2:30 p.m. The train was traveling to New York from Boston.
