The Shoreline Chamber of Commerce held its fifth annual Chili Challenge for a Cause on April 8. Participants strolled Main Street in Branford visiting participating businesses then voted for their favorite recipe. Here, dressed as a pepper, is Eli’s server Goran Lolic, directing participants into soundRunner where Eli’s was serving up samples.

This year’s Best Overall award went to The Hearth at Gardenside, which won $500 for its beneficiary The Women & Family Life Center. Most Unique chili went to Parthenon Diner and Most Traditional to Asti’s.
