On the job just one month, Westbrook Youth & Family Services Agency Clinical Director Sara Zaientz, LCSW, said she is thrilled to return to direct clinical work and to Middlesex County.

“I’m excited to return to direct clinical practice. I had stepped away from clinical work for two years to do autism assessments, but I knew I wanted to return to clinical work. This job is just what I wanted. I love this town, this area of Middlesex County, and am happy to be back,” said Zaientz.

As WYFS’ new Clinical Director, Zaientz directs the Westbrook Youth & Family Services Agency clinic and works with individuals and families in clinical and group work.

Her training and experience includes group work; trauma, child-parent psychotherapy; childhood developmental and behavioral concerns; coping with and managing mental illness; and being an administrator for outpatient and home-based clinical programs.

The Westbrook Youth & Family Services Agency agency for which she now works is a non-profit agency that, as one of its services, offers counseling to individuals and families in the community; payment is on a sliding scale based on income. Those seeking help and support are not turned away based on their ability to pay. The agency also accepts some insurances.
