Westbrook Seeking Input on Sidewalk Priorities
The Town of Westbrook is conducting an online survey to get input from residents and property owners about sidewalk priorities in the community.
The town has been working on a long-term goal of providing more sidewalks in the community to improve pedestrian access and this survey is intended to give Westbrook residents an opportunity to guide this process.
The survey asks questions about sidewalk priorities and desires for five areas:
• Town Center Core
• Town Center Periphery
• West along Route 1 from the Town Center toward Clinton
• East along Route 1 from the Town Center toward Old Saybrook
• North from the Town Center toward the high school and the YMCA.
Westbrook residents and property owners are encouraged to participate in the survey to ensure that sidewalk planning reflects community priorities and desires.
“This survey will provide important information to guide sidewalk efforts over the next decade and beyond,” said Town Planner Meg Parulis.
The survey can be accessed directly from the town webpage at www.westbrookct.us.
