01/20/2017 03:40 PMThe League of Women Voters of the East Shore (LWVES) will hold its annual Legislative Breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 9:30 a.m. at Evergreen Woods, North Branford (snow date, Saturday, Feb. 11). All are welcome, but an RSVP is required.
This is an opportunity for League members and citizens to hear from area legislators what the important issues facing the 2017 General Assembly session. There will be a presentation of each legislator's thoughts on these vital concerns followed by a question and answer period with the audience.
"This is always one of our most popular events of the year," said LWVES President Carol Reimers. "Those who have attended in the past enjoy this time to have a discussion with their legislators who represent the shoreline area towns."
