Rep. Kokoruda, Panelist at Sixth Annual Youth at the Capitol Day
State Representative Noreen Kokoruda (R-101) (at right), the leading Republican lawmaker on the State Legislature’s Committee on Children, served as a panelist during a discussion regarding “Connecticut Voices for Children” at the State Capitol on Dec. 15 during the sixth annual Youth at the Capitol Day. Kokoruda stressed the importance of meeting the transition needs of all Connecticut youth, and especially the critical need for an early, long-term plan before these children age out of foster care.
Connecticut Voices for Children promotes the wellbeing of all of Connecticut’s young people and their families by advocating for strategic public investments and informed public policies.
Rep. Kokoruda represents the 101st General Assembly District, which encompasses the towns of Madison and Durham.
