North Branford High School (NBHS) junior Sarah Criscuolo was recently accepted into the 2017 All-Eastern Music Festival Band. Criscuolo's acceptance to All-Easterns is a first for NBHS.

Criscuolo was up against hundreds of students from 11 states on the East Coast during an extensive audition process.  Students from the entire east coast will now form the 156 member Concert Band. 

Criscuolo was one of only 12 students from Connecticut accepted into the band. She will perform in the Concert Band as part of the National Association for Music Education's Eastern Division Conference.  This will take place April 5-8, 2017 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in New Jersey.

Criscuolo is a bass clarinet instrumentalist.
