On Saturday, Nov. 5, talented tenor Jorge Prego will perform in the stunning music room of a Pine Orchard turn-of-the century home, with fine artwork of Branford artist Robert Reynolds on display, as guests also enjoy a champagne and dessert reception. The classic evening of the arts is offered by Branford Arts and Cultural Alliance (BACA).

BACA  is a non-profit group working to promote the arts and artists of Branford and the shoreline with a variety of enriching programs and events.  Another upcoming BACA event, the second annual Library Art Show, is set for Branford's Blackstone Library from Nov. 1 – Nov. 28. The show will exhibit painting, photography, sculpture and other art created by Branford residents; with the pieces available for sale.

A native of Vigo, Spain, Prego is a classically trained, highly educated pianist and opera tenor who has performed across the country and in Europe. In 2014, he was tenor soloist with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra's performances during four Connecticut performances of Handel's "Messiah." Prego is also the current Director of Music with St. Mary's Church of Branford.
