Hamden Hall Country Day School presented a service award to Branford resident and local businessman Robert Massey, Jr., during its 104th Commencement Exercises.
Massey and his wife, Shelley, have been longtime supporters of and friends to the Hamden Hall community. He is the owner of Massey’s Plate Glass and Aluminum, Inc., in Branford, and all three of his children attended Hamden Hall.
The following entrepreneurs were recognized for outstanding revenue performance during an Awards ceremony A record-setting group of more than 2800 franchise owners, key staff and corporate representatives attended the convention, which was from June 26 to 30.
Catalina at Herman Glaser, owners of SERVPRO of Branford/Shoreline, received the Chairman’s Bronze award at the 47th annual SERVPRO Convention held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The SERVPRO Franchise System is a provider of fire and water cleanup and restoration services and mold mitigation and remediation.
Career Achievements
Jackie Solimini has joined the Comfort Keepers of Guilford and Branford staff as human resources/office manager. Patti Urban, owner of Comfort Keepers of Guilford, said, “Jackie has been providing human resource capabilities to various companies for over 20 years. She is also a swim instructor for the YMCA in Branford, working with the shoreline’s seniors.”
Megan Maruzo will assume the position of account executive V.F. McNeil Insurance and brings home, auto, and personal liability insurance to join with the company’s full range of life insurance, disability insurance, and financial products.
