Dean’s List for Spring 2016
The following residents were named to the dean’s, presidents’, and/or merit lists at their respective colleges and universities for the spring 2016 semester, unless otherwise noted. The student’s class year is that which pertained at the time of the achievement.
• Johns Hopkins University: Darius Mostaghimi of Madison, the son of Donna Cheng and Mehdi Mostaghimi, is majoring in biology and history.
• Rivier University: Matthew LaSance of Madison, a junior majoring in business management.
Academic and Extracurricular Achievements
• Champlain College Matriculates: Sean Marrinan of Madison (graphic design and digital media major), Patrick Nichols of Madison (creative media major), and Graham Stillman of Killingworth (filmmaking major).
• Josiah Howenstine of Killingworth graduated summa cum laude from Adams State University with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration/general business.
• James Madison University Matriculates: Marissa Antoni of Madison (management major), Lindsey Forsey of Madison (nursing major), Brandon Harris of Madison (individualized study major), and Megan Stewart of Madison (psychology major).
• Michael Padberg of Madison recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in London. The project was titled “Assessing the Impacts of the London Project Center.” Padberg is majoring in electrical and computer engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
• Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Matriculates: Jake Fay of Madison, Daniel Milton of Madison, Raymond Pantalena of Madison, and Marcus Tung of Madison.
• Southern Connecticut State University December Graduates: Jessica Baycroft of Madison, Ashley Campbell of Madison, Sean Carroll of Madison, Peder Johnsen of Madison, Adriana Lanzetti of Madison, Eric Larson of Madison, Sarah Muise of Killingworth, Anne Pember of Madison, and Courtney Presti of Madison.
• University of Rhode Island Graduates: Emily Derome of Madison (BS in marine biology, cum laude), Devin Lingan of Madison (B.S. in finance), Maggie Moriarty of Madison (BA in communication studies, general business), Matthew Sturman of Killingworth (B.A. in English, education, cum laude), Analise Tenney of Madison (B.S. in pharmaceutical sciences), and Michael Peter Terrio of Madison (B.A. in sociology).
• Holly Wheeler of Madison received the Shoreline Branch of AAUW’s local scholarship.
