Meet Juno

Juno is an eight year-old male schnauzer. He came to Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (VSAWL) because his owner was moving across the country and couldn’t take him with her. He is a loving dog who enjoys going for walks, exploring his environment, and chasing the tennis ball. He is a great option for the first-time dog owner or for someone who is home more. He is fine as the only dog, but may be okay with a mellow house mate. If interested in Juno, call VSAWL at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Westbrook, open five days a week (Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Calling ahead is recommended for availability. All animals live on site and can be viewed for consideration for adoption.

To see who else is waiting for a home at the shelter, visit www.valleyshoreanimalwelfareleague.org and www.facebook.com/VSAWL as well as www.petfinder.com. VSAWL also accepts relinquished cats and dogs based on animal intake guidelines and if space is available. To relinquish a cat or dog, call the shelter office at 860-399-7561.
