Awards, Grants, and Recognition
• David F. LaMay, CFP, CPWA, Financial Advisor at Essex Financial Services in Essex, recently earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation delivered by Investment Management Consultants Association. LaMay, a certified financial planner, has worked in the financial services industry for 25 years and specializes in investment management, financial planning, and long-term care planning for individual, corporate, and not-for-profit clients.
Business and Organization Updates
• Community Music School has named Abigail Nickell as its new executive director. She will be responsible for the leadership and management of the active school and its outreach programs. She replaces Robin Andreoli, who left the organization in March.
• Essex Yacht Sales recently announced a new marketing alliance with custom wooden boat builder and designer Rockport Marine, of Rockport, Maine. Under the terms of this alliance, Essex Yacht Sales will offer Rockport Marine’s RM26 classic New England day boat and the new RM44 Express. The new boats were presented at the Connecticut Spring Boat Show in Essex May 13 to 15.
• Gwenn Rosenberg, ND has joined Anne Procyk, ND in her practice at Third Stone Integrative Health Center, 3 Wildwood Medical Center, Essex. Dr. Rosenberg earned her medical degree from the National College of Natural Medicine and completed her residency with Bastyr University. She also attained additional training in Holistic Pelvic Care with Tami Kent MSPT and training in pelvic floor physical therapy with the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
