Thanks to a generous grant from the Essex Savings Bank and Essex Financial Services, the Valley Shore Y was able to successfully host its 25th year of the annual Healthy Kids Day on April 30 to a crowd of nearly 300 individuals and families from the surrounding community.

Healthy Kids Day was filled with a variety of opportunities designed to help children explore creative, imaginative, and simple ways to play. Activities included a youth triathlon, bounce house, pony rides, archery, fencing, and face painting. Several local organizations also partnered with the YMCA to offer safety and educational services to participants on the Y campus, all allowing kids and their families to discover the joy of learning and staying healthy and safe.
