The following residents were named to the dean’s, presidents’, and/or merit lists at their respective colleges and universities for the fall 2015 semester, unless otherwise noted. The student’s class year is that which pertained at the time of the achievement.
• Colgate University: Chase Johnson, a senior majoring in history.
• Fairfield University: Caroline B. Bennett, Caroline M. Campanelli, Nicole A. Funaro, and Anthony P. Pagliaro.
Academic and Extracurricular Achievements
• Brian Coughlin was inducted into the board of directors of the North Haven Education Foundation, Inc.
• Michael Della Valle performed in an inaugural concert in Eastern Connecticut State University’s Fine Arts Building. Della Valle is a freshman majoring in accounting.
• Denise Reynolds was inducted into the Elks Lodge #25 as the exalted ruler. Reynolds is the third woman to hold this position in the lodge’s history.
• Shoreline Arts Alliance 2016 IMAGES Photography Award Winners: Mark Battista, Kathy Conway, and Daniel Hott.
• South Central Area Superintendents’ Association Honorees: Andrew Carmody and Brynley Rainey.
