Driving through town, Madison residents may have noticed construction taking place at the former Madison Police Station located at the corner of Route 79 and Old 79. Town Planner David Anderson said a bank will soon occupy the space.

The current police station, located at town campus, opened in 2000. The former police station was sold to the current property owner, CK Builders, LLC, at the end of 2004.

Anderson said which bank will go into the new space is currently unknown and the timeline for the project is still up in the air.
