East Haven Farmer’s Market Seeks New Vendors
The East Haven Farmers’ Market, which resumes on Sunday, July 10, and will continue every Sunday until Oct. 9, is now looking for additional vendors.
The market will return to the parking lot of Town Hall at 250 Main Street from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. each Sunday. Once again, this year’s market is managed by family farmers Chris Vaiuso of Vaiuso Farms in Branford and Carolyn Bradley of Borrelli Farm in Northford
The East Haven Farmer’s Market is committed to selling only Connecticut grown farm products and/or Connecticut made products. Vendors are required to produce a traceable point of origin within Connecticut if a product being sold was not produced by the vendor.
In addition to Vaiuso and Borrelli Farms, the market is actively looking for several additional vendors committed to selling their goods at the market each Sunday during the summer. The two farms are expected to bring a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs each week. Applications will be sent out shortly to previous year’s vendors and any new vendors are welcome to apply.
Interested vendors should contact either Carolyn Bradley at 203-710-2760 or dinaglide2000@yahoo.com.
All vendors interested in selling any food products must meet with the East Shore Health District during its regular business hours before being allowed to sell at the market.
