Eggstravaganza Returns to Guilford Green
Its that time of year again—time to get out your baskets and put on your bunny ears. The annual Eggstravaganza is returning to the Guilford Green on Saturday, March 12 and promises to be a great time for kids and families.
The event, put on by the Guilford Parks & Recreation Department and in partnership with the Knights of Columbus, will include candy hunts and visits from the Easter Bunny according to Parks & Recreation Program Coordinator Andrew Turner.
“It will feature candy hunts for four different age groups, with plenty of candy for all,” he said.
The age groups are for children aged 3 and under, aged 4 and 5, aged 6 and 7, and aged 8 to 10.
Nearly 300 kids are expected to attend, but Turner said parents do not need to pre-register—simply show up and enjoy the fun.
“The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance to deliver candy, as well as posing for pictures,” he said. “This event is for all ages and we hope you will come celebrate with us.”
The event will take place on the Guilford Green and start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 12. Rain date for the event is Saturday, March 19.
