PRESS RELEASE, March 2, 2016: Branford Community Foundation Honors Robert Mobeck
On Thursday, February 25, the Branford Community Foundation (BCF) honored Robert J. Mobeck for his outstanding commitment to the organization with the creation of the 2016 Branford Community Foundation Robert J. Mobeck Award for Excellence in Community Service.
Through his firm, Olson Mobeck Investment Advisors, Bob has provided disciplined financial management strategies and advice to the BCF for more than 30 years. During that time, and through a variety of global economic markets, he has helped the organization achieve long-term asset preservation and growth while delivering consistent and conservative investment guidance and returns.
Furthermore, Bob supports and understands the importance of recognizing community programs and services focused on improving quality of life issues for all Branford residents. He is forthright in his dedication to helping BCF connect people who care with causes that matter.
The Branford Community Foundation 2016 Robert J. Mobeck Award for Excellence in Community service will honor a not-for-profit organization that serves the Branford community with a total $500 contribution. The recipient will be determined by Mr. Mobeck and the BCF Board of Directors based on excellence in community service.
