02/17/2016 03:09 PMFeb. 17: HARTFORD, CT – Senator Ted Kennedy Jr. (D, District 12) today voted in support of Justice Matthew E. Frechette of Branford and Justice Barbara Bailey Jongbloed of Madison. Both Justices were successfully reconfirmed to a term on the Connecticut Superior Court.
"I am familiar with the work of both Justice Frechette and Justice Jongbloed, and am proud to give them my vote," said Senator Kennedy. "These two model citizens are committed to the law and to public service. Their hard work has certainly earned this nomination, and I am glad to be able to represent their home towns of Branford and Madison."
Both justices are current members of the Connecticut Superior Court and received unanimous support for their confirmation to serve new, eight year terms.
