01/26/2016 12:30 PMThe Shore Line Trolley Museum more than met its goal of getting a few new volunteers when at its recent open house for potential volunteers.
“We had 18 new individuals attend the open house. We were overwhelmed with the attendance,” said Museum General Manager Wayne Sandford.
“It looks like our 2016 new operator class will be starting Saturday, April 9 and [we] have a good group. Surprisingly, we not only had a number of retirees, but a few young folks—very exciting,” said Sandford.
