01/05/2016 11:00 PMA man was rescued from a house fire at 33 Burr Street in East Haven on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
East Haven fire officials could not immediately be reached, but WFSB-TV3 reported that an unidentified man was pulled unconscious from the second floor of the home.
He was brought to the hospital where he regained consciousness, according to the TV station, which reported that his injuries were believed to be non-life threatening.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
