On Saturday, Oct. 24, the East Haven High School/North Branford High School (EHHS/NBHS) Co-op Marching Band competed in the USBands "Music of the Knight" competition at Southington High School.

The EHHS/NBHS Marching Band took Second Place in the final in-season competition. The team's season record is four First Place wins and one Second Place win.

On Sat. Oct. 31, EHHS/NBHS Marching Band takes the field at 12:02 p.m. at USBands New England State Championship at the Veteran's Memorial Stadium in New Britain.  

Reporter's Note: Eight students from NBHS, together with 47 students from East Haven, make up the 2015 EHHS/NBHS Marching Band.

NBHS Music Teacher Katherine Trainer serves as the EHHS/NBHS Woodwinds Instructor. The band is led by EHHS instructors including Matt Laudano, Band Director; John Moynihan, Field Percussion; Matt Torcellini, Pitt Instructor; Mary-Ann Bucci, Color Guard Director, Ray Clark, Drill Writer, Marching Instructor.
