Those cartons and boxes beneath the big tent on the town green today are filled with gently-used books that will soon fill the Friends of the Blackstone Library annual Book Sale, open to the public Fri. Sept. 25 – Sun. Sept. 27.

There's something for everyone, even night owls. On Friday and Saturday, the sale starts at 9 a.m. and runs 'til midnight. On Sun. Sept. 27, the sale opens at noon and ends at 5 p.m., and prices go to $10 per bag filled with books (bags provided by the Friends).

Selections run the gamut from best sellers to children's books, from cooking to gardening, history, art, science, sports and more.

Book sale proceeds benefit Blackstone Library programs.
