In Guilford, Never Going Back to their Old School

In advance of the final closure of Guilford High School, five decades’ worth of alumni have been gathering to capture one final memory with their classmates in front of their old school. Here, the Class of 1997 shows its GHS pride.

As plans continue for the fall opening of the new Guilford High School, the existing school will be closing to the public effective Thursday, June 25. School personnel who need to access the old building may do so by entering on the west side, parking in the west parking lot. Please note that no one under 18 will be allowed in the building, under any circumstances, as of Monday, June 29.

Administrative offices will be open in the new high school during the summer for official school business. High school personnel may be reached by email and by phone at 203-453-2741. Anyone needing to come to the new high school, beginning June 29, must park in the west parking lot and follow the sidewalk to the school’s main entrance located on the north side of the building.
