Butterfly Hunting in Westbrook

Tom Kelly heads deep into the brush after elusive butterflies with fellow guide Bill Van Loan acting as spotter. The Connecticut Butterfly Association and the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge presented a free butterfly walk on June 13 at 10 a.m. at the Salt Meadow Unit in Westbrook. The group enjoyed fantastic weather and modest butterfly-spying success.
