Erica Rose Scranton, the daughter of Bruce and Lecia Scranton of Guilford, is engaged to wed Michael Anthony DeNuzzo, the son of Carol Sessa DeNuzzo of Killingworth and the late Robert DeNuzzo. The future bride and groom currently reside in Guilford.

The future bride and the future groom both graduated from Guilford High School in 2005. The future bride graduated from Roger Williams University with a bachelor’s of arts in graphic design communications and public relations in 2009. She is a marketing coordinator and graphic designer in Guilford.

The future groom graduated from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts, at which he played soccer, with a bachelor’s of science in criminal justice in 2009. He is currently pursuing a juris doctorate at Western New England University School of Law, with an anticipated graduation date in May of 2017.

A May 20, 2016, wedding is planned at St. George Church in Guilford, followed by a reception in Branford.
