Sarah Verasco, minister at the First Congregational Church of Guilford, officiated the ceremony at the Bee & Thistle Inn. The bride is the daughter of Barbarah H. Donahue of Navarre Beach, Florida, and William F. Donahue of Duluth, Georgia. The groom is the son of the late Donald R. Mullen and Isabelle M. Mullen.
The bride was attended by her friend Nicholas Mullholland of London. The groom was attended by his three sons, Wes Mullen of New York City and Ben and Ted Mullen of Madison.
The bride graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and is a communications professional. She will use her husband’s last name.
The groom graduated from Allegheny College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He is a senior partner at the Guilford Veterinary Hospital, at which he has been in practice for more than 35 years. His previous marriage ended in divorce.
Following a honeymoon in Quebec, the couple resides in Guilford.
