The East Haven Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner was held in style on May 19 at the Country House on Foxon Road.

While the evening serves as the Chamber’s annual meeting at which officers for the coming year are named, it’s also the Chamber’s annual opportunity to recognize members of the community for a year of service and dedication and to hear from town officials, including Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr., about the town’s outlook for the coming year.

Outgoing East Haven Chamber Chair Jennifer Higham wrapped up her two-year term with a farewell speech, handing the reins over to the new chair, Lorrie Maiorano of Calcagni Real Estate. Mark Gravino was sworn in as vice chairman, Michael Green as treasurer, and Johanna Meisner as secretary.
