April in Paris for Branford Teen Artists

This group of Branford teen artists and chaperones will travel Paris, France in April.

If you see someone wearing a shirt bearing the message “Je Soutiens Les Arts,” that person has done their part to help a group of Branford teen artists travel to Paris, France come April.

The French phrase means “I support the Arts." Branford High School (BHS) Fine Arts teacher Donna Roy is organizing the trip with lead organizer Laura Kaiser, who also teaches Fine Arts at BHS. The two have organized the trip independently (it is not part of Branford High School or Branford Public School programming). Kaiser designed the shirts.

The teenaged artists sold the shirts as a fundraiser to help support their trip, which will take in cultural sites including the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Monet's beloved Gardens of Giverny, Montmatre and more.

As noted by Roy and Kaiser, “Branford teen artists will be traveling to Paris this April to experience the arts and culture of this amazing city,” adding the trip will help the group of Branford teen artists "...share the beauty and richness of international travel and the art of the masters.”
