Guilford's Nick Fradiani, Jr. on American Idol Thursday
Guilford's Nick Fradiani, Jr. will appear on the TV show American Idol this coming Thursday night.
Fradiani will appear as part of the New York auditions, hoping to become one of the 24 finalists who eventually make their way to Hollywood.
His father, Nick Fradiani, Sr., said Tuesday, "the whole family is really excited for Nick. We're hoping all of Guilford is watching and rooting for him.'''
It won't be the first TV appearance for Fradiani. He and his band, Beach Avenue, competed on NBC's America's Got Talent.
Fradiani inherited his musical abilities from his father, Nick, Sr., who spent his life as a musician traveling around the country playing shows in Las Vegas, on cruise ships, and other locations. Now the seasoned music man accompanies his son's band, playing keyboard and offering back-up vocals when needed.
Fradiani was also in the Guilford High School Choir for all four years and said singing tenor back then has definitely paid off since he is now the lead singer for Beach Avenue, which got together in 2011.
