12/06/2013 11:00 PMOnce again this year, Scranton Memorial Library will host Parents Night Out. It will take place Thursday, Dec. 19. This program is a joint effort by the library's Children's Room and the Teen Department.
Parents may drop off their children for an hour or two for some shopping in downtown Madison and perhaps for a holiday dinner while the library staff and volunteers provide activities for the children. The library will have teen volunteers to help with crafts, refreshments and games related to the holidays. This program is for children ages 5 and up from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Space is limited and registration is required: www.scrantonlibrary.org/events.
