Long-Range Facilities Assessment Study Workshop
The Clinton Board of Education invites you to participate in the second of a series of community workshops regarding the development of a long-range facilities assessment. The second workshop will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in the Board of Education Conference Room from 7:00 to 8:45 p.m.
The assessment is being conducted as a part of the Clinton Public Schools Capital Planning and involves a comprehensive evaluation of K-8 facilities, as well as implications for facility use related to enrollment projections. Drummey Rosane Anderson, Inc. (“DRA”) conducted building evaluations prior to the September community input meeting. Since the September meeting, they have held meetings with school staff to gather input on programming and educational planning throughout the fall. The second public workshop will focus on discussing findings to date and to discuss and develop criteria for evaluating potential alternatives before developing recommendations for the Board of Education to review. In January DRA will hold the third community workshop (Wednesday January 8) to review recommendations and invite additional community input before presenting the final facility study to the board of education for consideration.
