Republicans Dominate Election
Republicans won a resounding victory in Tuesday's elections.
Republican First Selectman Michael Freda, who ran unopposed, will be returning with Second Selectman Tim Doherty (R) and Third Selectman Sally Buemi (D).

Town Treasurer: Republican Laurie-Jean Hannon (unopposed)
Board of Finance: Republicans Dyann M. Vissicchio and James Lianos over Democrats William C. Kohlhepp and Michael T. Hallahan.
Board of Education Full Term: Republicans Anita B. Anderson Brian P. Bogen over Democrats Jenifer D. Cecarelli, Carol B. Franceschet, and Nicholas J. Coppola (I).
Board of Education to Fill Vacancy for Four Years: Republicans Goldie Adele and Matthew Kerzner over Democrats Dorothy A. Logan and David J. Abate .
Board of Education to Fill Vacancy for Two Years: Republican Randi M. Enrico-Petersen wins (unopposed).
Board of Assessment of Appeals Full Term: Republican Ralph L. Ricciardelli over Norman Juniewic Sr.
