Selectman, Finance Boards Talk Open Space

Whether or not the town should approve appropriation of $750,000 to buy open space in the Menunketesuck Greenway area will be dsicussed by the Boards of Finance and Selectmen on Thursday, Nov. 7. If both boards agree, the appropriation would then go to a Town Meeting for approval.

The Selectmen have already approved a $10,000 deposit to secure the town's purchase rights to the 143-acre parcel owned by Joseph Russo.
