11/01/2013 12:00 PMRepublican incumbent Fillmore McPherson decisively defeated Democratic challenger Seth Klaskin at the polls today, winning with 63 percent of the vote. That margin of defeat means that the four candidates for selectman - Diane Stadterman, Joan Walker, Robert Hale, and Al Goldberg - all exceeded Klaskin's vote total and all four will serve for the next two years with McPherson.
Republicans also swept the Board of Finance, maintaining majority on that board. Incumbent Jennifer Tung will be joined by former selectman Joe MacDougald and Sharon Kokoruda.
Bold denotes winning candidates.
