WESTBROOK - In the long-standing tradition of Westbrook High School, each of this year’s 76 graduates were escorted by a faculty member important to them during Commencement Ceremonies held under blue skies at the school on June 21.

The valedictorian of this year’s senior class is Caroline Barton; she will attend the University of Virginia next year. Salutatorian honors go to Ayla Toussaint, who has chosen to matriculate at the University of South Carolina in the coming year.

Rounding out the top 10 student group are Honor Student Chloe Vincent (University of Connecticut), Sean Gosselin (University of Connecticut), Jesse Tettelbach (Liberty University), Caroline Davis (Smith College), Kathryn Cyr (Rochester Institute of Technology), Bethany Schuster (Keene State College), Megan Doran (Shenandoah University), and Juliana MacLachlan (University of Connecticut).

Four members of the senior class will enter into the military upon graduation.
