Suspect Uses Racial Slur, Threatens to Shoot Cop

On May 3, the Madison Police Department arrested Jonathan L. Brown, 54, on a warrant for Threatening in the First Degree and Intimidation Based Upon Bigotry or Bias in the Second Degree. These charges stem from an incident on March 24 in which Brown is alleged to have used a racial slur while he threatened to shoot a Madison police officer.

Brown was released on a $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear at G.A. 23, 121 Elm Street, New Haven on Tuesday, May 7.
